deer stand

For those of you whom are deer hunters, this is the new deer stand that Darth and I built to replace the tree one mother nature took out in the spring. My feet are roughly 18' in the air with the top of the shelter at 24' and an awesome view of the surrounding area.

Nice work guys! An imposing and impressive blind. I wonder, are you going to add a little camouflage to it or are deer just too dumb to notice the two humans in the fake tree?

no camouflage for now. if I had a diesel generator under it the deer wouldn't notice at all. they hear diesel engines all the time.

oh, and we do see a mountain lion in the area from time to time.
