RE: I Didn't Vote for Obama today

Now let's see how he handles the threats from Russia that came about as soon as he became President Elect....

Addendum: But like I said last night......it is neat to see history, but what really matters imo is policy.  Guess we will hang in there and see what happens.

RE: I Didn't Vote for Obama today

It is interesting because in the beginning... I actually liked Obama as a candidate because he seemed newer and more unlike the typical politicians we see out there.  I certainly liked him over other candidates like Mitt Romney and Hilary Clinton.  But... as more came out about all the different candidates, I truly didn't like any of them.  They all have secrets they are keeping, they are all making false promises, and they all will do something that we will find to complain about.

My one big concern is not about the presidency, but about how our set of checks and balances right now is out of whack.  And the democrats have been showing some very bad behaviour in congress and senate.. so have some republicans but the democrats more so.  I am not a fan of this giant bailout to banks.  I am not a fan of the huge mess that Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac were allowed to create by Congress.  There were Congressman who accepted LARGE contributions from these places to look the other way, from each party, and so now it is the Americans who have to pay.  And now.. the senators and congressman that enabled this financial mess now have the majority vote in 3 different places.  So they will be able to continue this stupidity at my expense.

I guess I am just tired of seeing my money go down the drain to support welfare and idiot corporate heads after all this time.  People can blame the Bush Administration on the war... but they cannot blame this financial mess on Bush's policies... and I know.. big political forum drama crap here.  I am just hoping that Obama looks at his two littler girls every night as he tucks them into bed and remembers that they need a real future, more than his party needs fat pockets and to be happy with the job he is doing.

But who knows, as Nali says, we have to just hang in there and see what happens.. because at the moment, we still have it better than France. :p

Trust me. His daughter's futures are quite set.

Rep, Demo or Indie; Fed, State, County or City...90% of them are phat catz and good ole' boys filling each other's pockets with ear mark money to buy one another's vote for a bill thus securing their children's futures on a very healthy path at the expense of our children.

To hell with the whole lot of them really.

Yes, time will tell what is going to happen.
Render to Caesar what is Caesar's and just move on.
I'll still work hard and do what is right by me and my family regardless of the extra pressures the government wants to throw my way.
It makes me stronger.
It builds the character of not only myself but that of my wife and children.
It's the American way to persevere through adversity.
That, at least, for me will not change.

For those that don't and suck the government nipple.
Thanks.  You are complete in suckiness both figuratively and literally.

This country has been in worse situations than this, though.
I'll try to remain positive.
Like most, I have my guard up.
If they come for my guns.... I'll make the news.

Some people say I have a bad attitude.  Those people are stupid.
