Q - So who are you guys? How long have you been around?

A - The Fatal Guild was formed by Zoppins in December of 2006 as a Burning Crusade raid guild, but several of our members have been associated going even further back in to 2005 in the raid guilds Devotion and Mirage.

Q - How would you describe your guild's style?

A - Hardcore-casual: Hardcore enough to get the job done, but casual enough to have some fun doing it. When we say "casual" what we mean is that when IRL takes precedence over the game, we as a Guild are understanding and can be accommodating.  

Q - What kind of raids are you doing, 10-mans or 25-mans?

A - As in the Burning Crusade, we will be focusing our efforts on Heroic (25) raiding, but with the options available now for 10-man raiding, we try to squeeze in a bit of that as well, especially as practice on Heroic Mode.

Q - So what have you guys cleared?

A - What, like every raid instance?

Q - Sure!

A - In the Burning Crusade we cleared: Karazhan, Gruul's Lair, Magtheridon (4th on the Server to do so), Doomwalker, Kazzak, Serpentshrine Cavern, Tempest Keep, Mount Hyjal, and the Black Temple. Two of five in Sunwell. So far in the Wrath of the Lich King we've cleared Naxx, EoE, Sar 3d, ToC, Ony, VoA and Ulduar 10.

Q - So what are you working on now?

After having cleared ToC, we are now working on HM in 10-mans to practice for the 25 HM. We continue to raid deep inside Ulduar and in between, we find time for Onyxia v2 and VoA.

Q - So what's your schedule like? Is there a minimum raid night commitment?

A - We generally have 25-man raids available almost every day of the week Sun-Thu, 3-4 hours in duration.  10-man raids are unofficial and are scheduled by players on our Public Raid Forum, usually held on Fridays, Saturdays or Sundays.  Our raid times are Mon-Thu starting at 8:00pm and ending at 11:15pm and Sundays from 7:00pm (if needed, depends on the current content, otherwise 8:00pm) to 11:15pm, Server Time.  

There is a minimum three-day raiding commitment required, please see our Guild Rules post in this Forum for more information.

Q - I'm a [Insert Class], are you guys recruiting?

A - Please refer to the Frontpage of our website which always has updated info on what classes we're looking for. Alternatively see our Recruitment post on the Alleria Server Forum, and/or speak to our Recruitment Officer, Foxred.  

Q - So do I have to like, fill out an App and tryout?

A - Yes, filling out an Application is required: you can do so on our Home Page. The next step is an Interview on Ventrilo, followed by a Tryout(s) in a raid.

Q - So if the tryout goes well, would I get an invite?

A - Yes, a conditional one: you will be tagged as an Initiate and be subject to a further evaluation period lasting two weeks. If merited, promotion to Raider will then occur. If not, then we would regretfully have to withdraw the conditional invitation.
